Encore Beach Club dress code

What to wear to EBC Dayclub, what gets turned away at the door, and what to leave in your room. Based on Wynn Nightlife's posted policy.

The short answer

Encore Beach Club is a swimwear venue. Wear a swimsuit, with a cover-up or shorts over it if you like, plus sandals or flip flops. Jeans, pants, athletic gear, tennis shoes, tank tops, cargo shorts, chains and see-through swimwear are not allowed, and door staff have the final say.

Dressed for the pool deck

Think resort pool, not nightclub. Clean, fitted and swim-ready gets in.

Women

  • Bikini or one-piece swimsuit
  • Cover-up, sarong, mesh wrap or kimono over your swimsuit
  • Sandals, slides, wedges or flip flops
  • Sunglasses and jewelry, kept simple

Men

  • Fitted swim trunks or board shorts
  • A short-sleeve shirt or button-up over them
  • Sandals, slides or flip flops
  • Sunglasses

What gets turned away

These items are on Encore Beach Club's prohibited list. Every guest is held to it, including cabana and daybed reservations.

Jeans & pantsNo denim or long pants of any kind.
Athletic gearGym shorts, sweatpants, jerseys and sports or team hats.
Tennis shoesAthletic sneakers count as athletic gear. Wear sandals instead.
Tank topsBring a short-sleeve shirt to wear over swim trunks.
Cargo & baggy shortsFitted swim trunks or board shorts only.
See-through swimwearNo sheer, risqué or indecent swimwear, and no underwear as swimwear.
Torn or stained clothingNo ripped, cut-off or stained pieces.
Chains & hardwareNo chains, and no clothing with studs, rivets or hooks.
Offensive printsNo offensive graphics, and no tattoo- or MMA-style clothing.

Also on the list: work boots, and swimming or sunbathing fully clothed. Topless sunbathing is not permitted.

Door essentials

ID at the door

Encore Beach Club is 21 and over. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. Copies and photos of IDs are not accepted.

Visiting from outside the U.S.? Bring your passport or Global Entry card.

Leave it in your room

Bags are searched. Outside drinks and water bottles, gum and mints, eye drops, cologne and perfume, vapes, cameras and GoPros, selfie sticks and party props are all prohibited.

Watches are fine.

Getting there

Encore Beach Club is at Encore, 3131 S Las Vegas Blvd. If you're staying at Wynn or Encore, change in your room and walk over with a cover-up on.

Can I wear sneakers to Encore Beach Club?

Tennis shoes and other athletic footwear are on the prohibited list. Sandals, slides, wedges and flip flops are the safe choice.

Are flip flops allowed at EBC?

Yes. Shorts and flip flops are permitted at the dayclub.

Can men wear a tank top?

No. Tank tops are on the dayclub's prohibited list. Wear a short-sleeve shirt or button-up over your swim trunks.

Can I wear a cover-up instead of a swimsuit?

Wear swimwear, with a cover-up over it if you like. Guests aren't allowed to swim or sunbathe fully clothed.

Can I wear jeans or pants?

No. Jeans and pants of any kind are not allowed at Encore Beach Club.

Does a cabana or table reservation change the dress code?

No. The dress code applies to every guest, including cabana, bungalow and daybed reservations, so make sure everyone in your group is dressed for it.

Who decides if my outfit is OK?

Management has the final say on attire at the door. If you're unsure about something, leave it at the hotel and keep it simple.
